How to Publish a Book with Personality

Filed under: Book Publishers — Book Publishers Expert @ 2:26 pm

Writers have a story to tell; that is what makes them writers. And putting that story on paper is the goal for which they strive. Compiling a book is certainly a challenge but it’s only half the battle if the writer wishes to print the book through traditional book publishing methods. What writers will often find is that there are challenges in navigating the world of book publishing; new writers are often not given much consideration and find themselves embroiled in a waiting game; one that ends in them eventually being rejected. And if a traditional book publishers decides to go ahead and print the book the writer is often not included in the decision making process regarding what the book will look like when complete.

With self publishing options available there are more choices for authors that wish to be completely engaged in the process of printing their book. This is because self publishing websites walk the writers step by step through the printing process, asking them questions that will allow them to infuse some personality into the completed work.

Through self publishing websites writers can simply upload their finished manuscript to the server. When this process is complete the writer can then set about making choices that will ultimately define the look of their finished book – a book that should – and will – reflect their personality and what is important to them.

Some of the decisions asked of authors by self publishing websites is the choice of binding they wish to include, the paper stock that will make the most sense for the book, and – most importantly – any additional features the writer wishes to include in their book – such as artwork, illustrations, and photography; those elements that will take the book from plain to personable in just a few short days.
