How to Publish a Book in a Series

Filed under: How To Publish A Book — Book Publishers Expert @ 10:44 am

For readers of the modern book series, there’s nothing more exciting that awaiting the follow-up to a story; a chance to see what happens next for the characters in which you have become invested. Writers of the book series have the luxury of creating cliffhangers for their readers – engaging their audience by increasing interest in an ongoing storyline.

Of course, there are a great many writers with interesting and exciting ideas for book series in their heads, or even on paper. But the chances of those series actually becoming published are relatively small in the competitive world of publishing. Even if writers are somehow able to engage the interest of the publishers enough for them to read their manuscript, the steps that manuscript needs to take to reach the shelves as a finished product are many.

Luckily, with the assistance of self book publishers, modern writers can learn how to publish a book that sells. Today’s self book publishers offer comprehensive secure websites where authors can determine their own fate in becoming published writers.

Through these self book publishers authors can upload their finished manuscript and make selections that will personalize their finished piece – including artwork and photographs to include, binding, and the like. They can then choose to print as many of their finished books as they want.

Going forward, as the next manuscript in the series is available writers can simply repeat the process – printing the next installment in their ongoing work – work which will see the light of day thanks to self book publishers.

  1. Many people would like to publish a book. It was a dream for many of us who had to deal with agents or Self publishing until recently, when Print on Demand Program came to the fore; the dream seemed out of many of our grasps. Today there are many options for someone who wants to publish a book, but it is a good idea to do a little homework before contacting a publishing company with your manuscript.
